Build Times

How Long a Build Actually Takes

Fitting day and pickup day are rarely the same day. Here's what determines the gap between them, so you can plan around it instead of guessing.

What Drives the Timeline

Stock vs. Special Order

If the head and shaft combination from your fitting is already on the wall, a single-club build is usually ready in two to three business days — loft and lie set, length cut, grip installed, swingweight checked against the card. Special-order heads or low-stock shaft models add the manufacturer's lead time on top, which we'll quote at the end of your fitting once we know exactly what's being ordered.

Full iron sets take longer than single clubs even when every component is in stock, since each head gets bent to spec individually and rechecked against the gapping printout before it leaves the bench.

Typical Turnaround
Single club, stock components2–3 days
Full iron set, stock components5–7 days
Special-order head or shaft+ mfr. lead time

What You Can Do Ahead of Time

Confirm Grip Preference Early

If you already know your preferred grip model and size, tell us at booking so it's on the shelf before the fitting wraps up.

Ask About Stock Before You Book

A quick call ahead of time can confirm whether the head you're leaning toward is on hand, which sets expectations before you're mid-session.

Flag a Deadline

Trip, tournament, or league night coming up — tell us up front and we'll prioritize the build accordingly where it's possible.
